Business
Registered psychotherapist
Location
Cobourg, in person and online
What I built
New site, 8 pages, request form

The starting point

The old site was a single dark template page: a name, a phone number and a tagline. No fees, no description of how Adam works, and no way to reach him except calling or texting. For someone working up the courage to book their first therapy session, that's a lot to ask.

What changed

  1. 01

    Fees before the first call

Session fees and insurance coverage sit on their own page, linked from every screen. Nervous first-time clients don’t have to phone to ask.

  2. 02

A request form, not a phone tag

A short appointment request that works on any phone and asks nothing sensitive. It replaced “call or text” as the only way in.

  3. 03

    Built around the rules

Ontario psychotherapists can’t use testimonials or promise outcomes. The copy and structure were written with those rules from day one.

  4. 04

Pages for each kind of help

Separate pages for couples, individual and family therapy, so each can be found on its own in search.
